2007: My Favorite Foods

Phew! We are finally back from all of our holiday traveling. I have accumulated a lot of great gifts and a lot of not-so-great weight. Luckily, I managed to gift a great majority of my baked goods and am only left with 2-3 melomakarona and kourambiedes a piece. Not so luckily, I probably consumed 3 lbs. of butter and 2 lbs. of sugar on my own in the past 10 days. But, it was a great time and so nice to see family. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!

The first thing I did when I got home was go through my Google Reader (this is where I catalog all the blogs I keep tabs on–food and otherwise; you should try it, if you haven’t already). Many of the food blogs I read were packed with great best-of-2007 lists, from other favorite blogs, to favorite recipes, to lists of things to try in the coming year, etc. I decided to do something like that here, too and list for you some of my favorite recipes from the past year. Perhaps you will dig into the archives and try something you missed the first time around!
